Freedom Transport Services provide East Anglia with a unique, added-value taxi service that is specifically “designed for disability”, person-centred in its delivery and offers more than just transport, including providing an important befriending role.
With the latest in adaption technology our fleet of Peugeot Boxers are set up to accommodate all mobility restrictions. We can even customise the wheelchair accessible taxi seating layout into configurations that can take up to 8 passengers, including up-to 2 powered wheelchairs with 6 seated passengers.
Our adapted vehicles are bookable by phone and allow those who cannot access public transport or do not own a car the ability to travel around the clock with no restrictions. We also offer a pre-bookable evening taxi service so after 6pm we can get you where you need to go whenever you need.
All our drivers are uniformed, fully licensed and hold all the relevant safeguarding and awareness certificates needed to work with mobility access needs. As a dedicated wheelchair user taxi service we offer one to one support on your travels and can also offer regularly driver check-ins throughout the journey to maximise your comfort.
All of our vehicles are fitted with both contactless and chip and pin fare payments. So no cash, no problem. Simply pay via your contactless card or smartphone at the end of your journey.
