Our Story
We have experience working in a private hire taxi firm, having frequently been told by customers with mobility needs that there was a lack of suitable transport locally which has limited their ability to get around.
This is how we can to realise the need and importance for transport for individuals with restricted mobility, and from this Freedom Transport Services Ltd was formed.
We as a family run business want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to get around freely, with no restrictions, we take pride with compassion and care.
Our 8 seater taxis have been approved and plated through Broadland District Council and can be configured to take up-to 2 powered wheelchairs, 6 seated passengers still with room for luggage.
Our accessible taxi fares are set to the UK's standard mini bus prices, so we never charge more for accessible travel.

Our Mission
Our unique, added-value service is specifically “designed for disability”, person-centred in its delivery and offers more than just transport, including providing an important befriending role.
Including by getting people to the social activities that are important to them as well as by facilitating valuable social connections (with the driver and other passengers) during the journey itself. Our drivers are fully trained in the safety of all passengers.
This is done by providing one to one support, assisting on and off the bus, regular check ins throughout the journey to maximise comfort. We hope reduce users’ reliance on others, such as family members, and helps to maintain their independence, to alleviate loneliness and social isolation, supporting independent living, enabling participation and investment in the local community, and facilitating timely access to health and wellbeing services.
Our prebookable evening taxi service is on hand to you to get to and from leisure, social or family engagements where the venue may not accessible by public transport.
We offer a reliable accessible service providing taxis to and from school for your children, ensuring that they are there on time.
Friendly, safe and accessible airport taxi transfers to and from Norwich, Stansted, Gatwick, Heathrow and London Luton from anywhere in East Anglia.
We facilitate travel to and from social activities that are important to you and can we provide transportation around the clock.
Our 24/7 accessible taxi call out service is available for those with mobility needs that require urgent transportation for medical emergencies.
We are happy to offer a assistance dog friendly taxi service on all journeys and will never charge more for your dog to travel in the taxi.
